The stitch drilling technique is used when larger sized holes and openings are required.
The stitch drilling technique is normally completed by diamond drilling 107mm or 127mm diameter core holes and inter-joining them to form larger openings.
The openings created by the stitch drilling technique can then have the option to be unlimited in size, shape and thickness.
Stitch drilling is a very effective method of removing a large concrete area in the safest possible way.
When diamond drilling, water is used to lubricate the diamond core bit.
When water is used minimal dust is created, therefore this is a more environmentally friendly method and is favored for use in places near occupied or public areas.
The stitch drilling process can be completed in manageable sections, each section can then be lifted out easily when it becomes free.
If needed, lifting eyes will be fitted for the safe removal of each piece of concrete.
Stitch Drilling can be performed horizontally, angled, vertical and inverted diamond drilling.
